Fiddle Workshop with Mari Black: Get Jammin’!

Always wanted to fiddle?  Here’s your chance!  This workshop will be an introduction to fiddling for classical musicians and anyone else who is used to reading notes to make music.  Mari will teach several tunes and introduce strategies for bowing, fiddle ornamentation, and learning by ear.  Even if you’ve never tried fiddling before, this workshop will have you hooked and equipped with tunes and skills to keep on jammin’! Instructor: Mari Black


To register for this event, please use the following two-step process (in any order):

  • PAY: There are two places you can access the payment area. 
    1. Once you submit the Registration form, you will be directed to the Shop page, where you will find the Workshops under the ‘Registration’ category. Select the workshop you want, add the number of registrations you want to your cart, then click Proceed to Checkout. You can enter your existing account information to log in, create a new account, or proceed as a guest. OR
    2. Go to the bottom of this page andto the ‘Tickets’ area and add the number of registrations you want to your cart, then click Proceed to Checkout. You can enter your existing account information to log in, create a new account, or proceed as a guest.
